We have been very busy since our last blog. Take a look! APPLE ORCHARD! The weather gods were mostly with us as we strolled through Curran's Apple Orchard. Lots of good information for everyone. I even heard parents expressing that they had learned some new things! Sun, Moon, and Mexico! We have been discussing what creates Day and Night, as well as the difference between sunny and daytime. We were excited to learn about the upcoming eclipse where the sun, moon, daylight, and night all come into play. In honor of National Hispanic Heritage month, we were inspired to do a Mexican Folk Art painting of the Sun and the Moon. PE with Mr. Kirby PE is one of our favorites. Mr. Kirby has been working with the children on positional words, like above, below, around. Math Games: One of the best ways to memorize math facts is through games.
