Happy Holidays!
I'm so excited to share our last few months with you. Here we go: The following few pictures may not look like much, but they show the first time since Covid changed our lives, that we have gathered the children together for an assembly . No children from K-3 had had an assembly before. Here we enjoyed the JBLM Big Foot Band for Veterans Day. Many things cannot happen without the help of classroom volunteers. Thank you to all of you who came in every Wednesday to help us learn about the our First Nations. The children created, animals, and plants that were important parts of their lives, and then placed them on our map in the hallway. We started learning about Winter Holidays around the world. We learned about Divali in India and made Diyas or small candle holders. The children made their own salt dough, then added beads for decoration.
